Stylist Mickie Clark’s creative life began early when she helped her hairdresser Mother produce fashion shows. As a young adult she immersed herself in Minneapolis’ rich indie music scene, spending countless wee-early morning hours at First Avenue, 7th Street Entry and The Uptown. A love of jewelry led Mickie to create her own line — Rare Bird Studios — which pioneered the vintage modern aesthetic. Today, her passion for the mix of past and present defines the Mickie Clark look, blending bohemian grace with Uptown polish. Off set, she loves thrifting, cooking for friends and family, and travel. Niki de Saint Phalle, Andy Warhol, and David Bowie are cultural anchors.
