Erica von Trapp is a Portland-based food, beverage, and prop stylist and recipe developer. With a culinary career starting in James Beard-nominated restaurants in the United States, she later leveled up her craft at the Michelin-starred Le Pur Restaurant in Paris, and soon graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris with advanced diplomas in both savory cuisine and French pastry. It was in Paris that she worked her first food styling job, and she hasn’t looked back, continuing her food styling career after moves to Los Angeles and, later, Portland, Oregon.

Erica’s clients range from national brands to local grocery chains to large Hollywood productions, and she’s mastered niches from recipe development to product packaging to cookbooks. As her career has evolved, she’s come to love styling props as well, and will frequently style food and props simultaneously.
